The book was much better. But I still enjoyed the film, but I love convoluted plots.

| I really liked Tell No One. The plot was convoluted (if that's the word for it), but I loved following it and enjoyed the ride from beginning to end. |

I'm not very picky about French films.
Gary........when I saw it in Palm Springs the theatre was sold out and there were fights in line.
For an even better foreign thriller try Headhunters from a book by the Norwegian author Jo Nesbo. Humor is added to the mix. |

Headhunters is one of the best of 2012.
Tell No One was a big hit at my theater in Taos. I had to to hold it over for a week. |

Haven't seen it, would like to though. Nesbo is an interesting author. I've read a couple of his books, but didn't know any had been filmed. |

Hey there.
Actually, we were literally in NYC last month for a few days, not long enough though. My first time, loved, loved, loved it.
Def not the last though. |

At certain camera angles, does Francois Cluzet look like the French Dustin Hoffman? I thought the resemblance was striking, at times. Plot was a bit obscure, though I remember liking it somewhat more than Weeds did. Overall, it seemed kind of manipulative...I had the vague feeling they were trying to sell me some kind of esoteric breakfast cereal. Nice catch on the author cameo, Mitty. |

Change "certain" to "all" and leave off "the French" and I would totally agree. Doppelganger, thy name is Cluzet. |

Yes. Saw him in The Intouchables, and you could hear everyone in the audience whispering "Psss psss pssst Dustin Hoffman" when he first came on the screen. |

| Indeed. I just did a quick google image search and a number of the photos I was almost sure were Hoffman. Quite a resemblance. |

Interesting. My cousin Mittie (from Tallahassee) came to NYC last week. Not her first time, however. |

It's been several years since I saw the film, but I do recall thinking he looked familiar, without nicking onto why. Interesting.
