Sorry....I don't know when the deadline is. I didn't know we were voting for this category until I logged in. In any case, whether you saw the movies or not, it doesn't matter in the long run. Noone's judging. Just enjoy! It's fun! |

Love your honorable mentions, especially from The Simpsons Movie. Now I'll have that song in my head all night. |

I haven't seen most of the films that are providing the song noms. The only one I can put my hand up for is
Pop! Goes My Heart
As for Best Score:
Dario Marianelli, Atonement
David Shire, Zodiac
Hans Zimmer, The Simpsons Movie |

Right? Such contagious economy.
"Spider Pig/Spider Pig/Does whatever a Spider Pig does/Can he swing/From a web/No he can't/He's a pig/Look ooouuuttt/He is a Spider Pig!"
The choral arrangement during the Homerpiphany and the final credits made me howl. Came perilously close to nominating it.

And came perilously close to nominating the last two.
Had best be getting myself in to Atonement before it's just too darned late. Not to mention the P.T. Anderson, GilroyWasHere and Li'l Reitman projects. lest Blanchefications be but half-informed by the time voting rolls around. Oh, it's always like this. |

Atonement's score is actually the only one I simply had to nominate of the films I'd seen. |

Marj--Remember how we talked about how David Shire's score for Zodiac was similar in tone and effect to his brilliant work on All the President's Men? |

Billy - I don't remember my date last night! And before you say anything (Gary) It was memorable. But I'll take your word for it.
Oh, Dear. I already have three scores. Now I have to think about what to exchange. I'll be back. |

YES!! Thanks Billy.
For some reason the board wasn't indicating new PMs. It usually does. Hmm? |
