Fine with me, Mel. However, I would ask him this. How would early evening on Sunday work? It's before the Oscar telecast and more people will be home and online.

I'll be at an Oscar party.

Well then, I guess whatever is best for everyone, and of course, mostly Lorne.

Yeah, I'd like to be there live, but if I can't, I can't. I can read it later, and marvel at the work Lorne has put in, gratis. I assume gratis.

7:00. We're MST. Two hours past the East Coast, for about another week, before the entire state of Arizona stands four square against the communist plot that is Day Light Savings Time.

Colombia also has no Daylight Saving Time, but that's because being so close to the equator, the days are pretty well the same length all year round. Gets dark around 6:30-7:00.

oooh. on Sunday evening I'll be on the plane, coming back from Austin..I'll be watching some of the Oscars but I'll be landing just when they announce the best picture etc.. aaah! The phone/ web doesn't work, so I won't be able to participate in on the Blanches.
if we do it on Sunday eve, I'll be missing both.

Mirgun,

Then you and Marc will be online Saturday night? I hope so. You're in for a wonderful presentation.

Can hardly wait for the Blanches. Have been assembling this year's omni-referenced ensemble for weeks now. Am particularly pleased with how improbably well pearls, welfare chic, combat fatigues, mid 40s and early 60s couture go together. Hopefully the wire whisk accessories and Bowie knife will prove useful at the omelet bar.

I've managed not to see any of the Oscar-nominated foreign films, documentaries short and long, live-action shorts and any of the films nominated for costume. On the other hand, I've seen all the animated shorts, which was a pleasant search and result. I'd only rank the Wallace & Gromit (which I expect to win) fourth among the five nominees, and it and #5 (French Roast) aren't bad.

Just watched last night's Blanche Awards. Congrats to Lorne, Melody and Inla for a very entertaining show.

I wanted to watch live, but ended up having issues.

I was in Wendover, NV and spent the better part of the 30 mins trying to get online (none of the casinos have Wifi). Even with 3 phones, two of them configured to be used as tethered (the phone acting as a broadband connection), I was not able to hold a connection for more than a few mins at a time.

Can't wait to see what year 12 brings. This show will be hard to top. The intro and all of the posters were excellent.

Chilly, what hotel did you stay at? I stayed at the Silver (something), it's the one I've always stayed at and I think they had computer access in the room. I might be wrong though.
